US investors appeared buoyed by comments from Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on Friday as stocks rallied on Wall Street.
The Dow Jones industrial Average (INDU) gained 164.84 points or 1.65 percent to close at 10150.65.
The S&P 500 index (SPX) gained 17.73points or 1.66 percent to close at 1064.59.
The Nasdaq composite (COMP) gained 34.94 points or 1.65 percent to close at 2153.63.
