European markets fell on Thursday after negative economic data from the United States rekindled concerns about the economic recovery.
The UK's FTSE 100 Index fell 91.58 points or 1.72 percent to 5211.29.
The German DAX Index dropped 111.18 points or 1.79 percent to 6075.13.
The French CAC 40 fell 75.53 points or 2.07 percent to 3572.40.
