By Newsroom America Feeds at 6 Feb 2012

The National Hurricane Center in Miami has issued a Special Tropical Weather Outlook for the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. A weak disturbance north of Cuba will bring locally heavy rain to southern Florida today. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are likely, leading to ponding of water in poor drainage areas. This system has a low chance of becoming a subtropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
