...Possibility for Subtropical Cyclone Formation near the Florida Keys and Cuba...

A non-tropical low pressure system is interacting with an upper-level trough, producing showers and thunderstorms across of much of west and central Cuba, the lower Florida Keys. A surface circulation is becoming better defined just west of the western tip of Cuba. Heavy rainfall and gusty winds are expected to impact southern Florida and the Florida Keys over the next couple of days.
