Dover - Officers participating in the statewide effort to Stop Aggressive Driving issued 242 citations for speeding violations from September 1st - 5th. This brings the number of speed citations for the campaign so far to 2,197. For the third year in a row, the important highway safety initiative, which officially launched on June 2nd, is focused on stopping speeding drivers and reducing speed related crashes in the state. The last weekend in August proved to be a deadly one, in which four people were killed in aggressive driving related crashes.
